This week has flown by, and I feel like I was just writing my “What I’m Liking Lately” for last week. The good news is that it hasn’t been nearly as cold here this week as it was last week, although it has been snowing off and on. Then, there was a day when the snow began melting- talk about temperamental weather.

Here's what I've been liking lately...

1. Pink Slippers

Pink slippers? Sign me up. I have these Bearpaw slippers in the party pink color, which I think is super cute! However, they come in a lot of other colors that are a bit more subtle (if pink isn’t your thing). I love that they have a hard sole, and I’ve found that they are very durable. I’ve had mine for probably 3 or 4 years now, and they still look relatively new. I highly recommend them as an alternative to Ugg slippers (although both are great!).

2. Solinotes Perfume

I have been really liking this vanilla perfume from Solinotes Paris. The brand offers one-note (obviously) perfumes that you can either layer or wear alone. This one’s notes are vanilla, white flowers, tonka bean, and white spices. It’s a very sweet, warm vanilla that I think makes you smell like a bakery!

3. Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

This recipe for chocolate crinkle cookies from Williams-Sonoma is so simple and quick, and the cookies are delicious. If you are a chocolate lover, you should give them a try. I usually bake some around Christmas, but I made them in the new year instead. There were already so many desserts for Christmas, I felt like it would be a waste- these deserved their own moment!
