Journaling every day can feel like a tall task. Sometimes I don’t feel like I have the time to sit down and write out detailed paragraphs about my day, and to be honest, sometimes I just don’t feel like it anyway. So, instead, I use lists to journal on a daily basis. They’re short, quick, and to the point- perfect for when you want to journal, but don’t have a lot of time. Here are 4 lists to make in your journal that are quick enough to write out every day.

Make a list of people, places, and things that you are grateful for in your life. You can include 5, 10, or 20 items in the list, just take time to acknowledge what you are blessed with in your life.
2. I am letting go of...
List a few things that you’d like to let go of going into the day, like anxiety about an event coming up or the need to check your phone constantly.
3. Top 3 to-dos...
What do you need/want to get done today? List the top three items on your to-do list, in order of their importance.
4. I am excited for...
List a few things you’re excited for today. They can be big or small- like your morning coffee or a trip you have planned.
