Welcome back to another “What I’m Liking Lately”! This week has really felt like spring, or even early summer. It was over 70 degrees today, and everything is greening up. Hopefully the nights warm up just a touch more, so I can start planting outside.

Anyway, let’s get into what I have been liking this week!

Here's what I've been liking lately...

Weekend Snack Board

What I'm Liking Lately 5.18.24 Roll Up Snack Board

It’s been a snacking kind of weekend so far, as you can tell from the spread above. Front and center, of course, are a little platter of dill pickle roll ups (the most popular recipe right now on the blog!), which always go quickly around here.

You can shop the olive wood charcuterie board seen in the picture above on Amazon.

Faux Orchid

Speaking of the little snack board pictured above- notice that orchid in the back? It’s this one from Nearly Natural (shop on Amazon). It’s beautiful, you don’t need to baby it, and you literally cannot kill it- perfect! It has actually fooled a few people in our house, who walked up to sniff the flowers before realizing they had been fooled.

Ciao House Season 2

I am really looking forward to the season 2 premiere of Ciao House on Food Network tomorrow night. In this show, hosted and judged by Alex Guarnaschelli and Gabe Bertaccini, ten chefs live and cook in an Italian villa. Each week they compete on teams, and the losing team has to eliminate one of its members. I watched season 1 last year and loved it, so I am looking forward to watching a new batch of chefs compete tomorrow.

You can watch Ciao House on Food Network on Sundays at 8/7c, or stream it on Discovery+ or Max
