Spring is in full swing around here- the crabapple trees are blooming, it’s been warm and sunny, and my strawberry plants are blooming. Keeping with the spring theme, here are some of my recent spring beauty favorites.

Here's what I've been liking lately...

1. Rose & Taupe Palette

This Laura Geller palette was one of my favorites of 2023, and I have been reaching for it a lot this spring. I love the rosy tones and metallic shimmery shades in this palette. All of the shadows are very wearable (no crazy colors) and also really easy to blend.

2. Native Moisturizer (With Sunscreen!)

I’m spending more and more time in the sun, so that means I really need to make sure I’m wearing my sunscreen. I treat this Native moisturizer (shop on Amazon) as my daily face sunscreen because it contains 20% zinc oxide. I love how it sits under makeup and it doesn’t leave a bad white cast, only a slight one since it’s not tinted. It also contains vitamin C and niacinamide.

I also occasionally use this mineral sunscreen by Native (shop on Amazon), which I really like as well. It’s slightly less moisturizing but also lays well under makeup.

3. Elf Lip Stain

Elf has majorly upped its makeup game in the past couple of years and I love so many of their newer products. This lip stain on Amazon has been a favorite of mine recently because the color lasts so long and it goes on glossy. My favorite shade is “Pinkies Up”, which I think is perfect for spring.
