Halloween is less than two weeks away (!!!), so I thought I’d share some of the spooky decor we have around the house this year. From light-up pumpkins to the cutest ornament tree, here are a few of my favorite pieces we’ve decorated with for fall 2024!
Let’s start in the kitchen…
Yes, those are real pumpkins. Yes, it was a bit of a challenge to stack them like that, but I promise they’re stable!
We picked up the fall sign to the right of the pumpkin stack at a small local craft fair a couple months ago, but they didn’t put their business name on a card in the bag, on a sticker, or anywhere. So, I can’t link to their site/page, but I wish I could! They had some really cute seasonal decor in their booth.
If you are a Labrador lover you might recognize the two Home Depot Halloween dog blow molds below. They went super viral earlier this fall and sold out in most stores. The one on the right was originally a Golden Retriever, but a little black paint turned him into another black dog that looks just like our own lab.
Moving on to (fake) pumpkins! I don’t know if you can tell, but we love a good pumpkin decoration in this house.
The big jack-o-lantern above also came from Home Depot. I think it’s super cute, plus it’s actually fairly light and easy to move.
This terra cotta pumpkin (above) is a new addition this year and I love that you can use it either outdoors or indoors. We added a light to the inside so it can twinkle throughout the night without worrying about a candle.
Just look at how cute it looks in the dark!
While I like the look of the light in the video above, I ordered this set of lights from Amazon because they include a remote and a timer setting.
The big pumpkin below has been a fall decor staple here for a long time and is probably my favorite Halloween decoration ever.
I also love a fall wreath, and you can make your own, too! Just start with a plain grapevine wreath, like this one on Amazon (or pick one up at your local Hobby Lobby or other craft store). Buy some faux flowers, pumpkins, etc., and then get to hot gluing.
Last but not least is this Halloween ornament tree (below). The pretty porcelain tree by Lenox is perfect for hanging little Halloween ornaments on. Who said tree decorating is only for Christmas?
The newer version of the Lenox ornament tree can be found here on Amazon. It’s an ivory color with touches of green which is not quite as Halloween-y in my opinion, but it does make it more usable for other holidays/seasons.
That’s all for this short and sweet Halloween decor post!
We’ll be decorating more within the next week for our annual “pumpkin party” where we carve jack-o-lanterns, eat some yummy food, and enjoy the last part of fall before Christmas takes over.
Our party decor includes more ghouls, goblins, and ghosts than we keep up in the house throughout the entire fall season. You can check out some of the cutest spooky and non-spooky Amazon Halloween decorations here (in case you too will be doing some last-minute decorating).
