How is it already the end of January? Time has been flying by so quickly. I feel as if I was just writing down New Year’s journal prompts to start off 2024. Now it’s time for end of the month journal prompts- here are 5 ideas to reflect on the past month!

End of the Month Journal Prompts:

1. What went well this month?

Start off on a positive note and write about things that went well this month.

2. What challenges did I face this month?

It can’t be smooth sailing all the time, so write down (even vent) about some of the harder parts of the month.

3. How did I feel this month?

Overall, how were you feeling this month? You can go into depth, or just use a few simple words.

4. When did I feel my best this month?

Write about the times you felt your best this month, whether emotionally or physically (or both). Maybe you felt best when you woke up early, journaled more often, or spent more time with friends and family. Whatever it was, take time to notice what made you feel best so you can repeat it in the future.

5. What did I learn this month?

Write down what you learned throughout the past month. Maybe you tried a new hobby and learned a new skill in the process. Maybe you read something interesting, or maybe you learned something new about yourself.

Then move on to a brand new month...

Now that you’ve reflected on the past month, consider using some prompts to start off the new month right.

Pin the list to save for later!
