Happy March! It was actually 55 degrees and sunny at one point this week, which is very warm for this time of year where I live. The unseasonable weather and the fact that Easter is only four weeks away have made it feel like spring has already sprung, even though it technically doesn’t start for another couple of weeks.

While Easter certainly doesn’t receive the same hype as Christmas when it comes to decorations and festivities, it is one of my favorite times of year- especially when it comes to decorating. Take a look at some of our Easter decor for inspiration or just for fun. I know for a fact that there will be a lot more- this is a festive household. So watch out for Part 2!

Our Easter Decor (so far):

Easter Wreaths

This wreath started as a plain grapevine wreath and was jazzed up with the greenery, flowers, and sisal bunny (which I think is adorable!). The pastel Easter eggs finish it off perfectly.

DIY Centerpiece

This super easy, DIY centerpiece is perfect for Easter! We’ll be keeping it on display all month (just changing out the flowers when needed).

A DIY Easter centerpiece which includes a spring flower arrangement coming out of a trifle dish that features pink Peeps bunnies, pastel M&Ms, and Easter grass.

All you need to make this centerpiece is:

  • A trifle dish, preferably a large-ish one since you’ll be putting another container inside.
  • A smaller jar, container, etc. to place within the trifle dish. Obviously, the larger this vessel is, the less material you need to fill the outside part of the trifle dish. However, if the inner container is too large for your flowers, you can always add a third, even smaller container to the inside of the second one (like a mason jar). That way your flower arrangement will look more full.
  • Easter grass to fill the bottom part of the trifle dish.
  • Pastel M&Ms to place on top of the Easter grass. I used about 3 bags (10 oz. each) for this arrangement.
  • Bunny Peeps– Since the bunny variety of Peeps are flat, they are easier to place between the glass of the trifle dish and the inner container. I’ve never tried regular Peeps, but I feel like they wouldn’t look right (but maybe I’m wrong!). I used 2 packs of 8 for this arrangement.
  • Flowers- As you can see, I used an assortment of flowers, but tulips would also be cute!
