Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup honey
- 3 cups rolled oats
- ¼ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (or as many as you'd like!)
Instructions
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave the peanut butter and honey for 20-30 seconds.1 cup creamy peanut butter, ½ cup honey
- Stir together the warmed peanut butter and honey until well combined. Add the oats and mix until the oats are coated in the peanut butter and honey mixture.3 cups rolled oats
- Grease a 9 x 9 pan. Spread the oat mixture across the bottom of the pan, firmly patting it down into an even layer using your hands or a small spatula. Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips across the top of the bars and lightly press them into the oat mixture.¼ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the oat bars to set, then cut into squares and enjoy! I also store these bars in the fridge as they become a bit soft if left at room temperature.

Loved your chocolate zucchini cake so we decided to try these oat bars. They’re quick, easy and delicious. We like them better than the oat bars from the store – and they’re less expensive. Yummy.
I’m happy you like them!
