ABOUT CAMY & THE BLOG
Hi, I'm Camy and I am so happy you're here.
Welcome to Happy To Be Here! My name is Camy and I am from a small town in northern Michigan. I am currently in my final semester of graduate school and will be graduating with my Masters in Business Administration by the end of this year. In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking and baking, gardening, shopping, scrolling on Pinterest, and now blogging.
Here you’ll find glimpses into my life in northern Michigan, recipes, gift guides, lifestyle content, and so much more. The name “Happy To Be Here” is a phrase I tend to use in my everyday life, and it feels like the blog named itself. To me, the name reflects gratitude for my life exactly as it is in the moment. In a fast-paced world, I am very grateful to be living in my small town, with my family, and to be here writing this.
Wherever you are, I am happy you’re here and I hope you enjoy the blog!
Some quick facts about me :
1. This may be the best fact of all! I have a black lab named Junior (short for Benjamin Junior), who has been my best friend since I was a little girl. He’s a sweetheart and just turned 14.
2. My favorite TV show of all time is Gilmore Girls. I have re-watched it more times than I can count.
3. My favorite color is pink. Always has been, always will be.
4. I know how to knit! I took knitting lessons as a little kid, and I think it’s something you never forget how to do (like riding a bike).
